McWaters' Project Management Skills Keep Governmental Projects on Track

July 18, 2017

McWaters has a long history working with governmental clients. Twenty years to be exact and they've operated under a GSA "Packaged Office" contract for the last seven of those years.

Over the years the contracts have given McWaters the ability to support local, state, and federal governments with their consultative services and outstanding project management skills—all while using the GSA's streamlined pricing, terms, and conditions. The end result is a strategic and beautiful space that supports government work. McWaters has been so successful with their government customers that they've even worked abroad in places like Naples, Italy and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

For their customers in government, McWaters' most valuable strength lies in their project management skills.

"They were able to consult on and manage every aspect of our project," said Rob Frank, Quality Assurance Specialist at FORSCOM/USARC HQ at Fort Bragg. "It really freed us up to focus on our day-to-day work while McWaters managed the project."

McWaters is able to offer that level of management thanks in part to their expertise in all four aspects of a space: furniture, flooring, audio visual technology, and relocation. That knowledge helps each McWaters employee understand how all the pieces of a space need to work together, how the project is affected if one piece of the puzzle is delayed, and how to keep it on track if delays do happen.

"It doesn't matter to us if we're providing one service line or all the service lines, our goal is to make the entire project move as smoothly and as cost-effectively as possible," said Bobby Nunn, Vice President of State and Federal Sales at McWaters.
