Account Manager (Any Location)

Achieve GP objectives as set out in your sales planning process. Sales executives are the source for bringing new business into McWaters through cold calling, networking and referrals. Excellent project management skills are required for this customer service oriented position. The Account Manager will be established as the main contact between the client and McWaters. The responsibility for managing accounts begins with identifying business and continues through the completion of the work and collection of receivables. It is the job of the account manager to continue to nurture the relationships of existing customers to identify future opportunities.

Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Manage McWaters’ relationship with the customer – be the expert by taking a consultative approach with fact-based analysis and data to back up plan
  • Enter all activity in sales management software (Hedberg), maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting, and contact information
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction on all assigned accounts
  • Provide sales support to meet customer needs
  • Proactively contribute to strategic account planning and customer performance review meetings
  • Coordinate activities of team members to ensure that the most efficient, appropriate solutions are utilized
  • Interact with Account Managers in other service-lines to manage expectations and keep them informed on active projects with their customers (cross-selling)
  • Work with team members as needed on projects o t resolve any customer issues expediently
  • Ensure proper documentation for the account is maintained
  • Work with Sales Coordinators to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of your accounts

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and gross profit
  • Ability apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Interior Designer (Columbia, Augusta)

An Interior Designer is responsible for the coordination and execution of design projects in conjunction with the Director of Design and Account Managers. A proficient skill level in the areas of space planning, AutoCAD® drafting, knowledge of furniture and finish resources, color and materials applications, as well as graphic and verbal presentations, is inherent to this position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Design Project Management

  • Direct and manage design projects throughout all phases of the design process to ensure completion in a timely and accurate manner
  • Adequately plan and design with regard to building code, ADA code, spatial constraints, and ergonomics
  • Accurately field-measure, verify, and record existing building and spatial conditions
  • Complete shop drawings and renderings using AutoCAD® and Configura® CET Designer® software
  • Create presentation documents, proposals, and design boards
  • Generate accurate quotes using CET Designer® and Hedberg software
  • Prepare installation drawings with detailed install information packages
  • Consistently uphold an open line of communication with Account Managers, Director of Design, Sales Coordinators, Operations Team, and Project Managers regarding project status, information updates, and pertinent issues.
  • Assemble and participate in team meeting with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, and the Lead Installer when warranted to facilitate complete and efficient communication
  • Maintain internal reporting systems including, but not limited to, timesheets, design log, project files, and project schedules
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain product knowledge and relevant software knowledge

  • Report any installation problems to the Job Lead
  • Maintain toolbox with all required tools
  • Maintain a neat appearance in accordance to the Operations policies and procedures

Skill Requirements

  • Application of all skills required of basic furniture handler
  • Develop basic blueprint reading skills
  • Develop product knowledge – by description, product numbers, and manufacturers’ intended application – relative to floorplans and function

  • Able to operate service van and other light delivery vehicles
