McWaters conducted surveys to determine the individual needs of each department within the organization. This process allowed for more insight into the expected five- and 10-year growth estimates, and employee input on what makes an effective, enjoyable workplace. This approach allowed us to show the client how shorter workstation panel heights would bring more natural light into the space, and how the addition of sound masking would help with the more open environment on all floors. Workstation and private office mockups were ordered so that the client could evaluate the size and layout of proposed workstations and offices before finalizing layouts of each floor. Furniture solutions from Steelcase and Coalesse will be included as well as Steelcase Privacy walls.
In addition to programing and selecting furniture options for the workspaces, McWater's AV team addressed needs for integrated technology in both public and conference areas. Steelcase Room wizards, digital display signage and motorized window shades with Crestron control will be utilized throughout the project.
