The Aiken County Government Center is a three story, 130,000 SF facility that includes the county government offices, service centers, and state-of-the-art emergency operations center, in addition to a 200-seat council chamber and 150-seat training room. 

Project Scope

The Aiken County Government Center was a competitively bid project utilizing state contract pricing. McWaters was awarded the opportunity to work with the client and the architectural design firm to provide the specified items and to establish a complex, phased installation plan to coordinate with the construction schedule. 

SOLUTION

McWaters account managers and designers assisted in finalizing and coordinating specifications for furniture solutions that included Steelcase Answer panel systems, Frameone, Payback, Garland and Elective Elements casegoods, media:scape, Steelcase task and collaborative seating. Other furniture lines included Symphony, Allseating, OFS Furniture Brands, David Edwards, Harter, Peter Pepper Products, Nevins, Cabot Wrenn, Safco and Council Contract Furniture.
